MEET TEALY HEWGLEY

Art is a passion for this native New Orleanian. Tealy loves to blend simple, yet sophisticated design with help and inspiration from the organic silhouettes of botanicals and layered sunsets. Known for a refined yet simple aesthetic, she uses a palette knife and modeling paste to build deep, touchable textures in most of her pieces. Tealy typically finishes her work with the delicate accents of gold leaf to catch the light and her viewers eyes. With a focus on large and small abstracts for homes and businesses, Tealy's art can be found in gift shops throughout Memphis, New Orleans and beyond.

Tealy lives and works in Memphis, Tennessee with her husband and two daughters. She heads "home" to New Orleans every chance she gets!
